Useful details to have ready

You do not need any technical knowledge to get a quote. If you can, note the brand shown on the inverter, any fault code or message on its screen, the colour of its status light and whether your generation meter is still counting up on a sunny day. Let us know if the system still receives Feed-in Tariff payments, so we can protect that income during the replacement.

What happens after you send your details

A member of our Scottish team will call you back, usually within one working day. We will ask about the fault code or symptoms, the inverter brand and model, where it is fitted and roughly when the system was installed. A photo of the inverter display and the label on its side helps us give useful advice straight away.

If the fault looks like something you can safely reset, we will talk you through it at no cost. If the inverter needs replacing, we arrange a site survey and give you a written quote that covers the inverter, installation by our MCS-certified partners and the DNO notification.
