What we collect and why

When you submit our enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and arrange any follow-up survey or installation work you request.

Lawful basis

We process your data under Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR — it is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps at your request before entering into one. For marketing communications, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is sent to our CRM via a secure webhook. We may share your details with our MCS-certified installation partners if your enquiry involves an installation. We do not sell your data or share it with unrelated third parties.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode v2. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you give consent via the cookie banner. Essential cookies (session management) do not require consent.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@scottishenergyefficiency.co.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact, or as long as necessary for any ongoing contract. After that it is securely deleted.
